  1. Bulimia is a condition of continuous, 
  2. uncontrolled overeating. It is considered a
  3. manifestion of stress or depression, this 
  4. eating disorder is found chiefly in young 
  5. women. However, it may also arise as a result
  6. of brain damage or disease. When compensated
  7. for by forced vomiting or overdoses of 
  8. laxatives, the condition is called bulimia 
  9. nervosa. It is sometimes associated with 
  10. anorexia.
